2. Personal data we collect and its sources
For employers, we may collect company and registration details, business contact details, hiring requirements, role information, and correspondence.
For job seekers, we may collect your full name, nationality, date of birth, gender, passport number, email, phone number, contact preferences, employment preferences, salary expectations, availability, work-pass status, Singapore work history, accommodation needs, and any resumes, certificates, or licences you choose to upload.
We generally collect personal data directly from you through our forms, email, WhatsApp, or other communications. We may also receive relevant information from an authorised representative, an employer or candidate involved in a placement, a referral source, or public and other sources where collection is permitted by law.
3. Website technologies and cookies
Required cookies and similar technologies help us provide forms, remember your cookie choice and submission reference, prevent duplicate submissions, and protect the website against abuse. Cloudflare, including its Turnstile security check, may process technical request information such as IP address, browser, device, and security signals to host and secure the website. These required functions remain active when you select Required only.
If you select Accept all, Google Analytics may use the _ga cookie and collect information such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, browser, and device type. We use this information to understand website usage. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
4. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries; conduct employer and candidate consultations; assess and match hiring requirements and candidate profiles; communicate about opportunities; verify identity and eligibility; support work-pass, placement, and other recruitment administration; maintain accurate service records; prevent misuse; meet legal and regulatory duties; manage claims or disputes; and improve the website where optional measurement has been accepted.
We use and disclose personal data only for purposes that are appropriate in the circumstances, that we have notified to you, or that are otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not use identity details for advertising.
5. When we disclose personal data
We may disclose only the information reasonably needed for a particular purpose to prospective or current employers, candidates where needed to coordinate a placement, the Ministry of Manpower, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, other public authorities, professional advisers, and parties involved in a legal or regulatory matter.
Our service providers include Cloudflare for website hosting, security, form-data storage, and private file storage; Resend and our business email provider for submission notifications and communications; and Google Analytics after optional cookies are accepted. These providers process data to supply services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or with your further consent. We do not sell personal data.
6. Overseas processing
Some service providers may process personal data outside Singapore. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the protection required under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
7. Retention, accuracy, security, and data breaches
Online form submissions stored in our submission database and uploaded files are scheduled for deletion 12 months after submission. Related correspondence and administrative records are retained only for as long as reasonably required for an active placement, service delivery, a legal or regulatory duty, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of a claim. When personal data is no longer required for a business or legal purpose, we delete or anonymise it.
We take reasonable steps to keep personal data accurate and complete where it may affect a decision or be disclosed to another organisation. Please tell us when your information changes. We also use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted storage and controlled access.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We assess suspected data breaches and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals where required by law. Please contact us promptly if you believe information submitted to us may have been compromised.
8. Your choices and rights
You may change your optional-cookie choice at any time through Cookie Settings. You may also ask to access personal data we hold about you and information about how it was used or disclosed during the preceding year, ask us to correct an error or omission, or withdraw consent for future collection, use, or disclosure by giving reasonable notice.
Withdrawal may limit our ability to continue recruitment follow-up and does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
9. Data Protection Contact and updates
For privacy questions, complaints, access or correction requests, or withdrawal of consent, contact our Data Protection Contact at alphacrewmanpower@gmail.com. Please use "Privacy Request" in the subject line and do not send additional identity documents unless requested through an appropriate channel.
We may update this notice when our practices or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date above identifies the current version.
